Derek Kairos, known as Tamotsu Tokio (時尾 保) in Japan, is a major character in Time Hollow.
Biography[]
He was born circa 1973. He is the younger brother of Timothy Kairos and the uncle of the protagonist, Ethan Kairos.
Although Derek comes off as an uninvited guest during the game's introduction, he shows responsibility by looking after Ethan. He became Ethan's caretaker when he was around five years old by the time his parents disappeared in an alternate timeline. Derek later proves to be central to the game's plot as he decides to help in Ethan's investigation.

Derek is first shown to be a angered man who demands money, making him come across as a jerkish person. However, he is later revealed to be a responsible, caring and protective individual with a good heart.
